Since Brighton thinks it is so much fun to open your eyelids while you are sleeping and say Hi, we decided to do the same thing to Brighton on Sunday. Now that I look back at that moment, maybe that was why he was so crabby until we left to go have breakfast and go on a bike ride.

- A little about me. My favorite job is mommy. Most days anyway :) I also enjoy (most days) being a wife to my husband. I work with animals and coffee and gourds. I have learned over the years that I am a "hands on" kind of gal. I loathe working on spreadsheets in a sterile environment (I did that for about 3 years...too long!!) I thrive on constant interaction, creativity, diversity, and artistic freedom. I have learned that if I just do what I like, others will follow. Some will like what I do and some won't. But that's OK. If we were all the same how boring would the world be? My mommy instincts have led me to a life of service. Nothing special, nothing extraordinary (though I wanted to join the peace corps when I was 18 and when I told my mom she flipped her lid and almost had a feberal siezure...) but for now I'm happy serving coffee, making people's pets look cute again, making people laugh with my simply silly creations, and most of all, being a mommy.
